How a banner is carried...

touch point centers.org How a banner is carried
I often look at the definitions of words to challenge if my thinking represents the meaning accurately. What "bent" has advocated my thoughts. What flag/banner am I flying over the Lifestyle of my days.
I do not want to be a "devils" advocate, I'd rather be Gods! Or should I say: the discernment to know who is talking?
Feminist: advocating social, political, legal, and economic rights for women equal to those of men.
Feminine: adjective pertaining to a woman or girl: feminine beauty; feminine dress.
having qualities traditionally ascribed to women, as sensitivity or gentleness.

a noun or other element in or marking that gender.

What is the opposite of the word "feminist"?
Stephen Murphy
, Published poet, performed playwright & songwriter
Feminism. Masculism. Misogyny. Misandry. Oy!
If Feminism seeks to promote the rights and equality of women and see them equal with men, the opposite of this would be Misogyny, which is the disrespect and oppression of women through word and action.
The comparative word for Feminism is Masculism, which has its place in some niches (male workplace paternity rights etc.) but isn’t quite the same as the age-long struggled for women to have equal rights and status as humans and not be perceived and treated as lesser beings. Anyone who feels the need to safeguard the rights of a strongly established hegemony (men) is probably barking up the wrong tree.
Misandry (the disrespect and ill-treatment of men on ideological grounds) is the counterpart of Misogyny and should be avoided as it equally discrimination and there is no need for more negativity in an already negative world.
So I have come to the conclusion that "ist" is the culprit.

a suffix of nouns, often corresponding to verbs ending in -ize or nouns ending in -ism, that denote a person who practices or is concerned with something, or holds certain principles, doctrines, etc.: apologist; dramatist; machinist; novelist; realist; socialist; Thomist.

Practicing what concerns us, is a lifestyle attitude. Visually evident in neighboring view.
Principles (an accepted or professed rule of action or conduct) Doctrines (something that is taught; teachings collectively)
This might be were the bend in the "BENT" could come in. -ist are tagged onto the back, taking up a whole lot of our rear view mirror.
Is a principle accepted or professed Truth? Or is Truth a learned response?
Like Heaven or Hell? Good or Evil? Either they exist to measure behavior, or behavior is not in need of rule or judgement? And whose behavior is being measured? Ours or God's?
I guess we do not need the 55 mile an hour signs on the
highway because everyone knows how to "behave" when driving?
I tell you let's blame the -ist!

Now that we did a little dissecting of words and stirred up our freedom of listening to new thought! Let's camp on that and think, Why do we think the way we do? And is it worth your flag waving banner "LIFESTYLE."

Brave women challenge just that!
